This model (above) features lustrous pine throughout. The solid construction guarantees that it will outlast any child's use. The heart is cherry and/or walnut (mix or match - your choice), hollowed and hinged. It has over six cubic feet of storage space, and the two "secret" compartments will delight any child. The child's name can be added, as shown, at no extra cost. Your choice of cherry or black walnut trim. Available in two sizes. The corners are mitered, glued, and use biscuit splines for extra strength. Brass hinged handles are at each end. The edges of all boards have been half-round routered to give an extra bit of elegance.

This model (above) is a blue-ribbon, reserve champion at the 2010 Umatilla County - Hermiston fair. It features a single "secret" compartment, walnut or cherry trim (walnut above), hinged, hollowed, walnut and cherry heart, and hinged lid. All joints are securely glued and fastened with biscuit splines. No amount of use or abuse will damage the integrity of this chest.
